How to Copy LinkedIn Post Text on Android
You can copy unselectable content from a LinkedIn post on Android in four ways:
Method 1: Using Google Photos App
This method lets you copy unselectable text from LinkedIn posts on all Android phones.
- Open the LinkedIn app and take a screenshot of the post whose text you want to copy.
- Now, open Google Photos app on your phone.
- Tap on the Library tab at the bottom and go to the Screenshots folder.
- Open the screenshot of the LinkedIn post.
- Tap on the Lens button at the bottom and go to the Text tab.
- Tap on Select all to select all the text in the image.
- Tap anywhere on the post text and select the desired text using the selection bars. Then, tap on Copy text. The LinkedIn post’s text will be copied to your phone’s clipboard from where you can paste it anywhere.
Method 2: Copy LinkedIn Post Content on Samsung
Samsung Galaxy phones running on OneUI 4.1.1+ come with a native feature to extract and copy text from images. We will be using the same to copy text from a LinkedIn post.
- Take a screenshot of the LinkedIn post whose text you want to extract on your Samsung Galaxy phone. If it’s a long post, you might have to take multiple screenshots.
- Launch the Samsung Gallery app on your phone and open the screenshot of the LinkedIn post.
- Tap on the T icon at the bottom-right corner. All the text on the screenshot will be highlighted.

If you own a Google Pixel phone, follow these steps to copy text from a LinkedIn post:
- Open the LinkedIn post whose text you want to copy.
- Now, swipe up from the bottom edge of your Pixel phone to open the Recent apps screen.
- Tap on the Select button.
- All the text will be highlighted. Tap anywhere and select the text that you want to copy. Then, tap on the Copy button.

Method 4: Using Universal Copy App
If your Android phone doesn’t support the above methods, you can use a third-party app to copy text from a LinkedIn post.
- Install the Universal Copy app on your phone.
- Open the app and grant the necessary permissions. You will see the app’s notification will show up in the notification panel.
- Launch the LinkedIn app and go to the post whose content you want to copy.
- Open the notification panel of your phone and tap on the Universal copy notification. Make sure that the LinkedIn app is in the background.
- As soon as you tap on the notification, all the text and images on the LinkedIn post will be highlighted. Tap on the content that you want to copy and press the Copy button at the bottom.
How to Copy LinkedIn Post Text on iPhone
If your iPhone supports the Live Text feature, you can use the same to extract and copy unselectable text from LinkedIn posts.
- Open the LinkedIn app on your iPhone and take a screenshot of the post.
- Open the Apple Photos app and go to the screenshot of the LinkedIn post.
- Tap on the Live Text icon at the bottom-right corner to select all the text in the screenshot.
- Then, tap anywhere on the text and select the LinkedIn post content. Finally, tap on the Copy button. That’s it. The LinkedIn post’s text will be copied to your iPhone’s clipboard. Instead of copying the text, you can easily share the LinkedIn post with others by copying its link. Follow these steps to copy a LinkedIn post link on mobile:
- Open the LinkedIn app on your phone and go to the post whose link you want to copy.
- Tap on the kebab menu (three-dot icon) at the top of the post and select Share via.
- The share screen will open. Select the app where you want to share the post link. Or, tap on Copy URL (Android) and Copy (iPhone) if you want to copy the post’s link to your phone’s clipboard.
- To send the post to a LinkedIn user, tap on the Send button at the bottom of the post. The New message screen will open. Search for the user to whom you want to send the link.
How to Copy LinkedIn Post URL on PC
- Open Linkedin.com in a browser on your computer.
- Go to the post whose link you want to copy.
